After months of shooting community-focused projects, Thabang and Anza’s wedding reminded me why i enjoy storytelling deeply. Their traditional celebration brought together the power of Zulu heritage and the vibrancy of Venda culture in a ceremony overflowing with rhythm, colour, and joy.
Families arrived dressed in striking traditional attire, while the sound of drums, singing, and dancing filled the streets in celebration. One of the most heartfelt moments came when the Venda women knelt in respectful greeting—a powerful reminder that tradition is more than custom; it is connection, honor, and identity. Thabang’s Zulu headpiece and Anza’s detailed Venda dress symbolized two cultures united in a single moment.
The reception, designed by Blackberry Events Management, was a stunning blend of tradition and elegance. Peach tones, gold cutlery, flowing fabrics, and handcrafted centrepieces created a warm, inviting atmosphere that guests admired. From start to finish, the day was alive with energy, laughter, and unity—a true celebration of culture, love, and family. Capturing these moments was an honor.
